Suggested activities: download the Watch Muskegon Downtown Phone Application and take a walking tour of our impressive public art collection; visit the Muskegon Museum of Art; Help Moxie – the whimsical mastodon at the Lakeshore Museum Center – find her baby mastodons hidden throughout downtown.
Downtown Muskegon is home to two full-service hotels. The Delta by Marriott is Connected to Mercy Health Arena via the Muskegon Convention Center. This amazing 200 room hotel underwent an $8 Million renovation in 2019. The Delta offers lake views, fine dining, pool/spa amenities, and downtown’s only Starbucks location. The Shoreline Inn & Conference Center is located directly across Lakeshore Drive from Mercy Health Arena. Rad Dads’s was founded in 2017. After sweeping every award category at the Taste of Muskegon, Rad Dad’s officially opened in the Mercy Health Arena in June of 2018. Rad Dad’s is a throwback to honor the typical Gen Xer. If you grew up with Super Mario, Garbage Pail Kids, Pogs, cassette tapes, and awesome music – you will love Rad Dad’s. Their menu features many specialty tacos, nachos, rice bowls, spaghetti Ohs, and much more. Plus Rad Dad’s has the largest tequila selection in West Michigan! It’s a great place to be part of the game action without being at the game.
Coming soon! Frozen yogurt will be available all summer at Cool Kids – conveniently located in the Mercy Health Arena.
Coming soon! Carlisle’s has committed to building a restaurant located in the Mercy Health Arena. Carlisle’s is owned and operated by the HCK Group.
